first spinal surgery robot in Jiangsu Province. Let’s see what magic it has.
In the orthopedic operating room of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, a spinal fracture
reduction surgery has just been completed.
The "hero" that made the surgery successfully finished is this spinal surgery robot like a computer workstation.
Xiaozhong Zhou, director of the Department of Orthopaedics of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University,
introduced that after mounting the positioning frame, the robot's guide head can accurately find the point
that the naked eye can't find according to the data. It’s accurate to 1 mm.
After CT scanning of the patient's spine, this surgical robot will perform 3D modeling according to the CT data.
The surgeon will determine the position of the puncture or nailing on the computer, then the robot can move on the
positioning frame according to the coordinates and accurately locate the operation position, assisting the doctor
to complete the surgery.
Previously, these can only be judged by the experience of the doctor.

can be reduced by half, and the average hospital stay is reduced by about 27%.
